freee and Konica Minolta link systems to cut care-sector shift paperwork

Accounting-software firm freee and Konica Minolta connected their attendance and AI shift-scheduling tools, targeting duplicate data entry in understaffed care facilities.

freee announced that its “freee Attendance Management Plus” product began system integration with Konica Minolta’s “miramos” on May 1, 2026. The tie-up targets medical and long-term-care providers, where shift creation and attendance tracking have typically run on separate systems.

Under the integration, shift-data files can be imported directly into freee Attendance Management Plus without modification, while attendance-result files exported from freee can be loaded back into miramos to generate administrative documents.

“miramos” is Konica Minolta’s AI-driven automatic shift-creation service built for the healthcare and care industry, while freee’s tool specializes in actual attendance management. The companies said many facilities previously suffered from duplicate entry and calculation errors.

The partnership reflects a broader push to apply SaaS automation to Japan’s care sector, which faces acute staffing shortages and tightening compliance requirements.
